Pants or Prizes was an on-pack promotion for Dr Pepper. The premise of the campaign is surrounding the “What’s the worst that could happen” Dr Pepper mantra, giving kids the chance to win ‘something’ by entering the Pants or Prizes competition. The main prizes ranged from MP3 players, cameras and game consoles, however if you didn’t win you still received a prize – some pants! These pants came in both a physical form in a pair of Dr Pepper pants sent through the post, through to mobile content, all centered around pants.

 

We Love Mobile developed the pants content in the form of 3 Java games and 1 Android game. Java was selected as the best format as it has the highest reach across the handset range of the teen demographic.

The games developed were Super Pants where you could fly through the air collecting Dr Pepper’s whilst avoiding the evil obstacles. Pants Flinger, where you get to fling your pants at your fellow students. Last but by no means least, Para Pants Academy, where you are required to pull your pants parachute at the right time to progress through the ranks and ultimately graduate in the Para Pants academy.
