Shock horror, graphs displaying upward trends (consistently)

We are shocked. Nearly 17 million people in the UK used a mobile phone to access the mobile internet in December 2007 according to the UK Mobile Data Association (MDA). There has been a consistent upward trend for the past year. Can something be happening?
